I have long been drawn to psychotherapy and the transformative potential of talk therapy. I consider it a genuine privilege to walk alongside clients, offering support and encouragement as they explore their experiences, discover their inner resources, and move through their own unique process of healing and growth.

Personal Journey
I was born and raised in Dublin. For many years, I found myself moving between different jobs, never feeling truly happy or fulfilled. I had always been drawn to a career in psychotherapy, but I was unsure how to turn that aspiration into reality.
After moving to Donegal in 2014 and starting a family of my own, the path finally began to open up for me. During my studies, I worked in a variety of community-focused environments. These roles gave me valuable real-life insight into how deeply people can be affected by their circumstances and the challenges they face.
My professional experience, together with personal experience with adversity, strengthened my empathy and deepened my understanding of the importance of being truly heard. I came to recognise how a compassionate, listening ear can help someone reshape their perspective, reflect on their experiences and create meaningful, transformative change in their life.

Training
I hold a First-Class Honours BSc (Hons) degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, completed at the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP) in Dublin. The programme is accredited by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
My training encompasses a broad range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and person-centred therapy.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw thoughtfully from these different therapeutic perspectives to meet each client as an individual.
